(Minneapolis, MN)  —  A Minneapolis LGBTQ club is upping its security in response to a deadly mass shooting in Colorado.  Bobby Palmer owns the Saloon in downtown Minneapolis and says he is increasing security at the bar, including doing bag checks.  Palmer says his staff will also be using hand metal-detectors on weekends and that they will be working to put together an emergency preparedness plan.  A gunman walked into an LGBTQ club in Colorado Springs on Saturday and began shooting, killing five people and injuring over a dozen more.
