Minnesota author releases book with veterans on mind

Hazelden Publishing, part of Hazelden Betty Ford, just released a new book entitled “End Your Covert Mission – A Veteran’s Guide to Fighting Pain and Addiction”.  Co-author Dustin Brockberg:

“It’s a no-nonsense direct in your face let’s talk about the issues book there’s not a lot of theory in it even though it definitely is part of what we’re doing we want to just have an honest conversation with each veteran and anyone that knows a veteran about these important issues.”

More than two of 10 veterans with PTSD also have a substance use disorder (SUD), and nearly one out of every three veterans seeking treatment for SUD also has PTSD.
