The general public is invited to an open house at the Waterville Area Fisheries Office and State Fish Hatchery. The open house will be hosted on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We hope you will come talk to staff, check out some eggs/fish, experience the hatchery first hand, and enjoy some fun activities,” Craig Soupir, Waterville Area Fisheries and Hatchery Supervisor for Fish and Wildlife Division, Section of Fisheries at the  Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said. “This is a great learning and educational opportunity so consider pulling the kiddos and grand kids from school and bring them over! I look forward to meeting each of you so please, find me, lets talk!”
